CHEM 1210 - General Chemistry I Credits: 4 Lecture: 3 Lab: 3
This course focuses on the principles of general chemistry, including measurements and chemical analysis, atomic and molecular structures, chemical formulas and equations, stoichiometry and solution reactions, periodicity, bonding and molecular geometry, states of matter, and thermochemistry Students will complete lab experiments related to these topics This course is recommended for students who are pursuing an associate degree in science, engineering, or an allied health related field
Corequisite: MATH 0990 or MATH 0995 or placement into college level math
