CULA 1080 - Professional Baking


Credits: 3 Lecture: 2 Lab: 3

An intensive course covering all fundamentals, principles, and applications of practical bakery food preparation and pastry making. Students will learn the production of international yeast rising bakery products and the chemistry of baking. There will also be a section on the causes of and solutions to common bakery production errors.

Prerequisite: CULA 1040  and CULA 1060  or permission of instructor
