POLICY
The Office of Human Resources is responsible for classifying all non-faculty positions based on the content of the position description. The Office of Human Resources will apply consistent and objective criteria when analyzing each position. Please refer to the ‘Compensation Principles for the Effective Management of Zane State College’s Base Pay Program for Non-Faculty’ guidelines for more information.
A. POLICY GUIDELINES
Positions are evaluated at one of two points in time 1) annually during the performance evaluation process or 2) when a position becomes vacant e.g. new position or when an employee leaves the College. However, circumstances may warrant a position evaluation outside of either timeline and must be approved by the President.
