POLICY

Curricular Authority and Structure

The curriculum of an institution of higher education is primarily the responsibility of the faculty within each academic discipline. However, the Board of Trustees (BOT) holds the ultimate authority to establish and modify academic programs, schools, colleges, institutes, departments, centers, curricula, courses, general education requirements, and degree programs at Zane State College. Zane State College’s BOT has adopted this curricular approval process pursuant to state requirements and will update it every five years.
