3357:12-14-23-1-College Credit Plus High School Course Date Procedures

This procedure establishes the guidelines for determining drop, withdrawal, and grade entry deadlines for College Credit Plus High School (CCPH) courses to ensure consistency and clarity for students, guidance counselors, faculty, and staff.

Drop Date:

  • The drop date for CCPH courses is set as two weeks after the start of the term.
  • If the course start date falls on a Wednesday or later in the week, the two- week period will extend to the following week.

Withdrawal Date:

  • The withdrawal date is determined as 3/4 of the way through the term.
  • To calculate this date, the total number of weeks in the course is multiplied by 0.75.
  • If the calculated date falls exactly on a half-week (0.50 or higher), the deadline is extended to the next full week.

Grade Entry Deadline:

  • The grade entry deadline is set for one week after the course ends.
  • If the course end date is on a Wednesday or later, the deadline is extended to the following Saturday.

Implementation:

  • All instructors and administrative staff are required to adhere to these deadlines to maintain uniformity across CCPH courses.
  • Any deviations from these timelines must be approved by the Registrar or the designated academic authority.

This procedure is effective immediately and applies to all current and future CCPH courses.

Please ensure these deadlines are communicated clearly to students, guidance counselors, and included in course syllabi and relevant academic materials.
