A.POLICY
This policy defines the purpose and use of the Advising Worksheet at Zane State College as a tool to support academic advising, student planning, and progress tracking toward graduation.
B.POLICY GUIDELINES
- Definition of the Advising Worksheet
- The Advising Worksheet is an academic advising tool that displays the courses a student has completed and the courses still required to meet graduation requirements.
- Course completion data may include:
- Courses taken at Zane State College
- Approved transfer credits from other institutions
- Credits awarded through alternative methods (e.g., Advanced Placement, CLEP)
- Access to the Advising Worksheet
- Students: Students have access to their own Advising Worksheet through their My ZSC account.
- Advisors: Program advisors have access to each student’s Advising Worksheet and can provide a copy to students upon request.
- Purpose and Use
- The Advising Worksheet is used as a planning and tracking tool to help students and advisors understand progress toward graduation.
- It allows for effective academic advising by providing a clear view of the student’s academic progress, remaining course requirements, and transfer credits applied to the degree.
