A.POLICY
Academic integrity is fundamental to a successful academic community. This policy outlines the expectations and responsibilities related to academic integrity and establishes procedures for addressing academic misconduct at Zane State College.
B.POLICY GUIDELINES
Fundamental Values of Academic Integrity
- The College embraces the Fundamental Values of Academic Integrity as defined by the Center for Academic Integrity: honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility (http://www.academicintegrity.org).
Scope of the Policy
- Academic integrity is required in all formal coursework, including online classes, and in all interactions and relationships connected to the educational process.
- This policy applies to the use of College resources and all contexts related to academic endeavors.
Responsibilities
- Students and Faculty: Both students and faculty are responsible for adhering to and promoting the fundamental values of academic integrity.
- College Community: All members of the Zane State College academic community are expected to uphold the principles of this policy.
Academic Misconduct
- This policy identifies behaviors considered to be academic misconduct and establishes the procedures for handling such incidents.

- This policy is effective immediately.
