A.POLICY
This policy establishes the guidelines for students who wish to audit courses at Zane State College. Auditing allows students to participate in a course for informational purposes only, without earning college credit.
B.POLICY GUIDELINES
Purpose of Auditing a Course
- Auditing allows students to enroll in a course to gain knowledge without earning college credit.
- No academic credit may be earned or claimed later for an audited course.
Student Participation
- Class attendance, completion of assignments, and participation in exams are at the discretion of the student.
- Students are encouraged to discuss participation expectations with the instructor.
Registration for Auditing a Course
- Students may register to audit a course during the first week of a semester or the first week of a term course, subject to space availability.
- Registration for auditing is conducted through standard registration procedures and is based on available space in the course.
Tuition and Fees
- Students auditing a course are required to pay the full tuition and fees associated with the course, consistent with the cost for a credit-earning student.
