Section 3357.06 | Board of trustees - oath, election of officers.
This section describes the requirement of each trustee to take and subscribe to an oath of office; provides guidance on how the board constitutes a quorum and majority vote; and denotes that trustees shall serve without compensation but may be paid for their necessary expenses when engaged in the business of the board.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Trust is the foundation on which governing boards are built. The Latin word fiducia means trust. The fiduciary responsibilities of the trustees include the duties of care, loyalty, and obedience including, but not limited to, financial, organizational, legal, ethical, and regulatory issues.
