OTAP 2500 - Practicum
Credits: 5
OTAP 2500 is an intensive, advanced clinical fieldwork experience completed under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant. Students engage in 35 contact hours per week in the clinical setting and participate in comprehensive, hands‑on service delivery for clients across the lifespan. This course provides in‑depth application of purposeful and meaningful occupations, progressive development of clinical reasoning, and increasing independence in therapeutic practice as students integrate academic knowledge into authentic clinical environments.
