RADT 2200 - Introduction to Mammography
Credits: 2 Lecture: 2 Lab: 0
This course provides a complete overview of breast health and the theory and practice of diagnosing and treating the patient with breast disease. Topics to be covered include the following: pathology, mammographic positioning, patient education, diagnostic intervention and digital breast imaging. The assurance of quality and the selection of radiation parameters will also be discussed.
Prerequisite: Current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or permission of Program Director
