NAFS 1000 - Natural Science Computer Applications

Credits: 1 Lecture: 0 Lab: 2

Introduction to computers, computer concepts, and terminology, as well as the impact of computers on today’s society. Graphical and statistical analysis of natural science data are combined with the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation graphics software on microcomputers. In addition, the student will learn how to access and search online journal databases and other useful internet tools utilized in natural sciences research.
