MATH 1650 - Statistics


Credits: 3 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0

Equips student with understanding of statistical concepts dealing with the processing and interpretation of numerical information. Basic statistical applications including measures of central tendencies and variations, probability, sampling, hypothesis testing, and correlation analysis will be studied. A scientific or graphing calculator is required.

Prerequisite:
  • A 3.0 or higher high school GPA,
  • An ACT Math score of 22 or higher,
  • An Accuplacer score of 263 or higher, or
  • An ALEKS score of 30 or higher

Students who do not meet one of the above criteria must enroll in MATH 0650 as a co-requisite.
