MASS 1400 - Massage Therapy Clinical
Credits: 2 Lecture: 0 Lab: 10 Clinical Hours
The Massage Therapy Clinical course offers students supervised experience in massage therapy settings, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge and practice hands on skills to refine their techniques, develop client assessment and treatment planning skills, and learn to provide safe, effective, and client centered care. Working with diverse client populations, students conduct intake interviews, assess needs, and tailor treatment plans accordingly. Emphasis is placed on professionalism, ethical practice, and effective communication skills.
Prerequisite: MASS 1300 ; Prerequisite/Corequisite: MASS 1450
