FYEX 1100 - Introduction to Online Learning

This orientation course will help students gain the skills necessary to learn well in an online environment. The course will introduce students to the essential tools necessary to access course materials, communicate with classmates and instructors, submit homework, take tests, and check grades. At the start of any journey, it is important that students start off on the right foot, have a sense of where they are going, and make sure all of their equipment is ready for the long haul. In this course, students will find the learning outcomes for the course, a course menu legend to help plot their way through the lessons, hardware and software requirements to ensure a smooth journey, and any necessary browser plugins.
