EEET 3150 - Workplace Skills Seminar

This workplace skills seminar focuses on interpersonal skills that employers tend to seek in job applicants. Students will learn to identify these skills and recognize the importance of highlighting them in job interviews, via networking, and within the professional workplace. Topics covered include conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, recognition of implicit bias, negotiation techniques, nonverbal communication, and others. The course may include a mixture of classroom discussion, applied practice interview techniques, conflict role playing, guest lecturers from industry, and employer facility tours.
