CJUS 1090 - Corrections

The course is an introduction and overview of the fundamental processes, trends and practices of juvenile and adult probation, institutional treatment, parole and contemporary community-based correctional problems Included is a review of the history and philosophy of corrections as well as field trips to state correctional facilities.
