OTAP 2100 - Physical Agent Modalities in Occupational Therapy

Credits: 1 Lecture: 0 Lab: 3

OTAP 2100 is an introduction to the use of thermal, mechanical, and electrotherapeutic modalities as a preparatory method to facilitate occupational performance of individuals. Safe and effective administration of these modalities will be emphasized, including adhering to contraindications and precautions while implementing the intervention plan to achieve client centered, therapeutic goals.

Prerequisite: BIOL 2420  and BIOL 2430
